Motorcoach TravelShalimar Tours & Charter puts an emphasis on being SPAB certified. SPAB certification requires the completion of a rigorous training program. SPAB (School Pupil Activites Bus) certification, is administerd by the California Highway Patrol annually. During the inspection, the CHP Official performs a thorough vehicle inspection, inside and out. All aspects of our maintenance records, drivers' paperwork and driving logs are inspected to ensure we are in compliance with all laws, state and federal. Drivers are required to pass a "live-scan" background check through the Department of Justice.
